In respect of the Queen’s funeral being on the day of the planned AGM, the Trustees have decided to postpone the meeting until 24 October
We also celebrate The Queen’s service to UK society and are incredibly thankful for the support she offered to charities and volunteering throughout her lifetime.
We are now in a period of national mourning and charities, volunteers, and communities will be affected.
At this time we do not foresee any change in the schedule of the planned hires for the Memorial Hall but we are keeping an eye on the official guidance from the Government.
We will update the Charity’s website and Facebook page if there are any changes once the date of State Funeral has been announced and more guidance has been issued.

We are pleased to say that following last year’s successful event, there will be a Children’s Funfair on the Memorial Hall Field on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July
The Funfair is for children from 2 to 12 years old and it will be open from 11am to 5pm on both Saturday & Sunday and is again being provided by Children’s Adventure Fun Park
Some Funfair equipment is already on the field for the Carnival and will be added to for the Funfair itself over the next week.
All the equipment will be fenced off and there will be security on site throughout the period the equipment is on the Memorial Hall field.
Please see the advertising poster which gives more details of the Funfair and has a link to the operator’s Facebook page.
It’s a chance for the young ones amongst us to enjoy themselves and bring their parents and grandparents along!(The income from the hire of the field will help with the costs of the current Memorial Hall Refurbishment
